The founder of Buenos Aires Centre Nélida Gómez Vila, has
been teaching Spanish in Argentina since 1990. She started her profession teaching Spanish
to foreign executives during Argentina’s privatization process of the 90´s. Nélida has been quick to innovate and spot new
business trends. In 1998, with eight years of solid teaching experience behind her, she
foresaw a business innovation: combining Spanish training and Argentina’s great
culture. She then started Buenos Aires Centre to provide customers with
various ways to learn Spanish and gain some cultural experience. |

All our teachers at Buenos
Aires Centre are very well qualified with Master's Degree in Education. As well,
they have many years of classroom experience and are very dedicated to their students and

2.- TEACHING
MATERIALS
With 15 years of
experience, we have determined the better material for teaching Spanish. We use these well
known programs: "Español 2000", "Planeta," "América,"
"Macanudo," and " Voces del Sur." .As well, we have developed some of
our own resources for teaching, and interactive audiovisual material: VHS, DVD, etc.
All material comes with the program at no additional charges.
3.- SUPERIOR
CLASSROOMS
How are our
classrooms? At Buenos Aires Centre, our classrooms are separated by real
walls so activities in one classroom do not interfere with the activities of the other
classrooms.
We have found classes sizes of three to six students
the best for language learning. This size ensures a good vibrancy as this gives you lots
of opportunity for practice and interaction with the teacher.
We use the "total immersion" methodology to teach Spanish.
The classroom is almost
always in Spanish, with the teacher interacting with you at whatever Spanish you have
(well, not quite; there might be a little English spoken now and then). You certainly
learn Spanish in a Spanish environment.
As well, you and other students are
accompanied by their teachers on excursions and social outings for more practice in
Spanish.
4.-VARIETY OF PACKAGES
We have several
different Spanish programs--from beginners to advanced--from very serious learners to
"fun" learners. With each package, we offer a different school program and a
different "Experience Argentina" program. You choose how you want to
study Spanish and enjoy Argentina.

We have cultivated an excellent network of reliable, courteous, and dedicated homestay
operators located near the school.
Students will be
staying with host families with upper middle-class homes.

great opportunities to practice Spanish. Buenos Aires Centre’s
homestay operators have lots of experience with your "not-so-good" Spanish,
